JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: 2013 Sharp SHARP LC-70LE755U
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: screen black
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: nothing used normally. One morning did not turn on

The sharp tv seems to be faultering

I understand, so only the power supply board replaced in TV, correct?

2-5 power light flashing is an error code that indicates panel volts failure, this kind of problem occurs if either t-con board isn't getting 12V supply from power board or t-con board itself has got internal failure.

T-con board is located at lower middle of rear of TV and two flat ribbon cables from t-con board go inside the screen.

We need to check 12V at t-con board with multimeter while turning TV power On. If 12V is available even for a second then replace t-con board in TV to resolve the problem.

Please note that replacement t-con board should be identical to old t-con board found in TV as different version/ part number t-con board will not work. I hope these info will help.
