Well , for one thing I don't think the Roku box itself lost the sound if it shows an exclamation mark to say there is no audio but rather its connection to that network .
First thing here is to unplug the Roku `s power cord 2 or 3 minutes or so
what is it you were watching , Netflix , youtube , hulu etc. ?
O.k but you lost the sound on the tv itself as well or only the HP ?
and you are seeing that exclamation mark on the tv screen ?
