1. We have experienced a problem with our audio reception. After about an hour of normal operation we hear a session of very garbled sound that lasts 5 minutes, and then it stops. Or, we can turn off the TV and turn it back on and the audio is normal. This problem repeats itself about every hour. It occurs on both our Panasonic televisions
(Panasonic LCD TV Model TC-L37CC22).
This problem just began to occur when our Cisco DTA 271 HD boxes were installed by Time Warner, our television cable provider, to comply with national television broadcasting changes.
We have had four separate technicians come to examine our equipment from Time Warner. They have substituted new boxes, new cables etc. etc. They finally said, maybe it is a problem in your television- not being able to cope with the demands of the new boxes.
2. Another question -- are new televisions equipped to show the new TV broadcasting without the use of a box, like we have.?
