I have a Samsung, the red light comes on and blinks twice

Customer Question

I have a Samsung, the red light comes on and blinks twice then nothing. The red light will only come back on if I unplug the power
JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: Few days
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Nothing really. I opened tv to see if anything looked bad or burnt up
JA: What's the make and model of your tv, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Pn51f5300afxza
Samsung
About 6 or 6 years
JA: The TV expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?
Customer: No thanks

Their will be checks to be carried out using a meter (volt\ohm) do you think you can do work yourself with the set?

The set will need a board replacing inside as their is hardware issues with the set

Let me know

Anthony

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
No. I'll have to send it in

I am sorry about that other than rebooting the set which I think you did (unplug\replug back into wallpower) their is nothing else but to get inside the set as i say it will mean board replacement in all probability
