The cord from the tv does not seem to fit anywhere on my

Customer Question

The cord from the tv does not seem to fit anywhere on my direct tv ports.
JA: What's the make and model of your tv, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: It is a brand new Vixio model D32x
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: None... We tried the cable in the holes where we thought it might fit...but it doesn't
JA: The TV expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?
Customer: Nope
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the TV Technician about your situation and then connect you two.

Hi there and welcome

The connection needs to be done via the HDMI port.

I saw, but did you see my instructions about connecting the HDMI cable, as this is what you use.

Then switch the input / source on the remote to the HDMI input channel you connected it to
