Hello

Welcome

The problem could be either its usually the power-board though, the first thing to do would be as a visual check to examine the capacitors on the power-board for leaking \ballooning\raised domed tops and then we move on from there can you do that please?

Anthony

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I'll go check. Wait one.

are you there?
Expert:  Anthony_Infotech replied 5 months ago.

Yes just checking

Expert:  Anthony_Infotech replied 5 months ago.

OK there are checks needed to be carried out with a volt-ohm meter to determine which board is bad now usually its the powerboard or mainboard in that order but there are 3 other boards that can also cause 10 blinks so hence the checks now do you have \can you use a meter?if not you would need to go along with the most common issue the power-board, let me know

Okay Anthony,I've being dealing with a family medical emergency in California. Here is how I took the meter readings on the P board.
I disconnected the power (it was off overnight) and isolated the P board by disconnecting all cables that went to the P board.
I then took my resistance readings. No shorts and all were above 1K ohms.I then reconnected everything and proceeded with the flow chart you sent me. The second snag.
I followed each test and question as it was given.
Disconnected the SC20 from the SC board and turned power on and got 10 blinks.
Reconnected the SC20 and turned power on.
The relay clicked on and off.
I unplugged the power and the connector P6 on the P board.
Reconnected power and turned on.
Took voltage reading from pin 7 on P6 to ground.
There was no voltage at all.
I reconnected P6 and took voltage reading again at pin 7 to make sure.
Again no voltage.
So the flow chart indicates that the P board is bad.
I must have got a bad replacement P board as it was used.
I will try to find a new P board. I haven't found one yet.
You have any sources for this board that are dependable? My online research shows that this particular Model has a numerous board problem history. What does Panasonic say about this issue? Thanks for your patience. I know how to use a meter. I repaired dental equipment in the Navy for 15 years that included working on x-ray machines. My meter is new and digital.Anymore advice you can give me?Danny O'Neal
