Welcome. I am Mike, an experienced field technician. We are now connected together on this convenient website where I am able to help you. To get started, I need to know you can see this message and are able to reply to me here...

-Can you bring up the tv menu using the buttons on the tv itself?

-Is the audio coming from the tv speakers or external sound system/sound bar?

For how long did you leave the tv POWER cord unplugged? If less than 3 minutes, try this and let me know if there is any change:

-disconnect all audio/video wires from the tv.
-unplug the tv POWER cord from the wall outlet.
-press and hold the power button on the tv for 20 seconds and release.
-plug in only the tv power cord, turn on, test for tv on screen MENU.

If that does not help then unfortunately there is not going to be any easy reset/fix. The Tv has an internal failure and the back panel needs to come off, complex checks need to be performed with a meter, then parts ordered and installed.

Since your tv is under Factory Warranty, we don't want to go messing around with any of that or you will void the warranty. At this point you will want to contact Hitachi(###) ###-####and arrange for authorized service.

Sorry for bringing the bad news. Before you go please take a moment to submit at least a 3 star rating at the top of this page. Then if you still need help you can reply back and I will be happy to assist you further.

Thanks
Mike
