Customer Question

Tc-p50g10 3 blink code replaced A board no luck. Checked voltages on power supply by jumpering pin 9 and 11 on p 25 . All voltages present. Disconnected A31 ribbon cable from A board and p35 on ps board and still no luck

Disconnect the TV's power supply cord.

Locate the SC (scan drive) board which will be on the left hand side - it is a large board with heatsinks attached.
Disconnect the SC board from the power supply board then reconnect the TV's power cord and see if the TV will turn on without blinking. If it does, then the SC board is suspect.

Let me know the results?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
Pete are you still available? It's been almost 5 hours since I sent you the results on the sc board

Yes I am here now, sorry for the delay.

If you are still getting the blinks when the SC board is removed then this suggests a fault with the PS board.

Have you replaced it yet?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
No have not replaced the ps. I jumped pin 9 and 11 on conectar A-25 and checked voltages on ps. They were as follows
P2- 198v
P11-185 v
P 25- pin 1,2-15v
P25-pin 5,6,9- 5v
P35- 85v
