What type of cabling is being used from the Input device and WHEN did this occur?
As asked, WHEN DID this occur? In other words- first time setup of this box, or was it working fine before?

IF YOU'RE using coaxial cable from the box to the TV, then you need to run a channel scan, which is kind of an in depth affair.
So instead of doing that, plead get me the brand and model number off of the front of the cable box.
