We were watching tv and the picture just went blank. Sound is good; other tv's in house have a picture. Tv is 7 years old.

Second, in order to determine what's causing this, I need to ask for more information.

1) What is the model number off of the back of the TV in question?

2) What is connected to the set for sources (cable/SAT box, DVD, etc.)?

3) If you use the original TV remote and press MENU or volume- do those indicators show up on the screen?
