I have indoor/outdoor cameras and should there be a interruption

Customer Question

I have indoor/outdoor cameras and should there be a interruption in power, several of the cameras do not come back on line. I have the system powered by a UPS to mitigate most interruptions, but there have been cases where the UPS discharges its energy and all cameras are turned off. Is there a simple way to get the cameras back on line?

Hello and thank you for your question. I look forward to assisting you today. Are the camera's not powering up or are they just not reconnecting to your network?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
not reconnecting to the DVR/network

Okay. Are the camera's hardwired or wireless to the DVR?

Hardwired

Do you need to restart the DVR or the camera's after an outage?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
The cameras. In most cases they restart after disconnecting and reconnecting. But in some instances this doesn't work until days of the connect and disconnect process.

I would like to research this further, is that okay with you?
Expert:  Dan replied 10 months ago.
Since this seems to effect the hardwired camera's more, can you change them to wireless?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
They won't work due to the range.

Can you give me the model number of the DVR please?
