Hello, If you were already watching the TV then a Channel Scan is not needed- and the problem lies elsewhere. If you're using a cable box connected to the TV with an HDMI cable- a channel scan is not needed. The only time you need to run a channel scan- is the FIRST time setup of the TV using nothing but a coaxial cable. So I need you to reply back with that info requested- was it working before, etc. and then I can tell you what to do.
