Customer Question

I was watching the tv and couldn't use the control to change the channels, turn it off, or adjust the volume. I had to unplug it. Now NOTHING. Yes I did change the batteries on the control.

Hello and sorry you're having problems. Offhand this generally points to a failure with the TV's Mainboard- which is the board that processes the remote commands, and all functions on the TV.

However, to be sure of that- can you please tell me:

1) Was it the original Vizio remote you were trying to use?

2) When the remote stopped working, was the programming playing as normal?

3) Are there currently ANY signs of life at all on the TV (power light it or blinking, etc.)?
