Hi Henry,

Expert:  Pete replied 9 months ago.

PWM just stands for Pulse Width Modulation, a technical term used in some TVs.

You can occasionally get these Main boards on eBay, but they are not readily available.

can I make any test to insure that the main board is indeed the problem ?

The only tests that can be done are to either swap it into a known working TV set and test it there, or swap a known good main board into your TV set and check if it resolves the problem.
