Hi , I`m Jack
Perhaps I can help you with this problem but first a few questions

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

What is the tv doing now if anything ?
Is there a light or blinking light at the front , clicking sound from inside when you plug in the power cord or try to turn it on ?

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

Also , could you please give me the tv`s model number ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Not at home, yes all of the above
Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

O.k then you mean there is still power and the light is blinking is that correct ?

The tv is not completely dead ?

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

Did it quit while watching it or simply would not come on today ?
Any electrical storm or power blackout in your area prior to this ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I not at home the kids said it would not come on this morning, it work last night. Nil to storms or power failer
Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

O.k then right now i don`t have much to go on with but in any case this would be the first thing to try ;

Unplug the TV's power cord and hold the power button directly on the tv ,keep holding it for 20 secs or so then let the tv sit unplugged for a couple of minutes before you try it again.
Although i do not expect much out of this procedure , it has to be done to confirm that this problem can be cleared or not with a reset.
If that does not do it then we are looking at internal problems with the tv.

let me know how that goes whenever you can

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
thanks, ***** ***** tonight ... no good tell the kids you what they are like.
Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

No problem let me know and if that works then great ,otherwise let me know with the model number written on the back cover and i will give you an idea of what you may be looking at repair wise
