Hi , I`m JackPerhaps I can help you with this problem but first could you please send me a reply when you see this ?
The green light flashing means the tv is powering up and that is normal but then the solid red light means the lamp has failed .
When was the last time you replaced it ?
Here is a good supplier with a 1 year warranty on the lamp ;
They also have a lower cost lamp with 6 months warranty ;
You can also use this part # ***** if you`d like to do your own shopping but whatever you do , do not buy those cheap $30 or $40 knock offs on ebay or amazon , you will have nothing but trouble with those .

Manual says RED when the lamp is out and flashes yellow when the door is not closed properly
Download the manual I gave you and look on page 9
By the way , 4 months doesn`t mean the lamp is still good , do you still have the old lamp if it was still working that is ?
If yes then try it , your new 4 months old lamp just failed
Also ,If that wasn`t a cheap lamp then it will be under warranty , just send it back
