Hi , I`m Jack Perhaps I can help you with this problem .
Is this the first time you replaced the lamp ?
O.k then i was just wondering if perhaps this was your first time and were not aware of the possible door /cover problem .
This 3 blinks code indicates either an improperly seated lamp or lamp door not installed securely .
Usually the latter is the most common .
Unplug the tv`s power cord and remove the door and lamp and re-install everything securely .
Hopefully that's all that will be needed , in some case it requires manually defeating the lamp door switch
Sony even had a service bulletin on this and on later models simply did not integrate that switch , it was causing too much problems
O.k then that problem is fixed , now check your connections and if you have snow I`d say mostly check the INPUT or what sony calls TV/VIDEO on its remotes , press that repeatedly to get back to the cable box or whatever it is that is connected to this tv
