Customer Question

I have a 70vs810 model tv. The lights on the tv indicate a bad bulb. I have replaced the bulb and still nothing. I have purchased 2 new bulbs and neither seem to fix the problem. Could there be something else wrong with the tv?

Anthony

They are blinking when you attempt to turn on the tv. The manual states that they indicate a bad or blown lamp
Expert:  Anthony_Infotech replied 11 months ago.

The new lamps where did you get them from please and for what price?

Anthony

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
It has been some time since they were ordered. Not sure of the exact websites they were ordered from. They were both around 100.00 each

So you are getting all 3 lights blinking. you should have fitted a UX21515 lamp, if you have done that and also made sure the lamp cover was fully secured when the lamp was fitted then the ballast is suspect that fires the lamp, do you think you can replace this board yourself?it will mean the lower back coming off the set

Let me know please

I should be able to fix this myself. What is the price range for a new ballast?
Expert:  Anthony_Infotech replied 11 months ago.

I would google the partnumber and see if its available elsewhere or on ebay cheaper

Expert:  Anthony_Infotech replied 11 months ago.

These parts are now becoming scarcer and more expensive for these old time sets

Expert:  Anthony_Infotech replied 11 months ago.

HA01471 is the partnumber

Expert:  Anthony_Infotech replied 11 months ago.

Its just a mater of following the lamp leads back to ballast board to locate it
