Does your sound come from the TV's speakers or an external sound system?
Ok, and what is plugged into the TV? A cable box maybe? Anything else?

Ok, do you have cable TV? If you do, you would have a cable box that you point the remote at.Is that the case?
So you don't have cable, you just have Netflix, Amazon, Hulu etc.?
So when you are watching Netflix, the sound goes up and down on it's own?
Does it do this on all streaming services?
Grab the Vizio remote and press Menu.Select Audio
Turn Surround Sound OFFTurn Volume Levelling ON.
Ok, maybe we should try it with Levelling OFF.
Ok. I am going to opt out of this question which will allow other experts to chime in. I am out of ideas I am sorry. I won this TV and do not have this issue.

- Do you get volume display on screen while sound level goes high/ low on its own?
- Can you please try another video device such as DVD/bluray player to this TV as sound test?
