I have an old small Panasonic stereo. Shelf unit. How do you turn off all the stuff it cycles through?
This happens every time the power goes out.

Press and hold the STOP/DEMO button- the display ("Demo On/Demo Off") changes each time the button is held down. Also shown on page 8 of the manual at the link below:

As far as it doing this each time you lose power- that is exactly what it's supposed to do.
