What is connected to this tv ?
Cable box,satellite,dvd,games etc. ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No free trial than cable box only. Comcast. Already called them
Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

Do you see another number on this headset like MDR-RF985RK

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

O.k and this headset came with a cable that has the mini headphones (3.5 mm ) plug on one side and rca plugs on the other ?

Click the link below and you will see the cable I mean ;

I`d like you to use that cable exactly as in this picture and connect it directly into the cable box audio outs for a test or permanent if that does it for you

By the way , if that link opens a login window popup then just close it with the upper corner X
The picture is behind that

I have a small box from Comcast and it has no red and white holes in the box
Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

o.k then turn that cable around and try it again at the back of the tv where it says headset then the rca plugs at AUDIO IN 1 on the transmitter

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

Don`t forget to turn up the tv`s volume once its done

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

That headset out on the tv is volume dependant so you will have to presset your headset volume directly on them and then turn up the tv`s volume , in other words you have 2 volume controls to play with

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I get nothing on either one
Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

What is either one ??

There is only one output and input you can use on the tv

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

When you plug in the cord in the TV's headset jack , does that cut the tv speakers sound ?

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

Do you have sound through the tv speakers ?

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

This is how it needs to be connected now ;
