After the tv shuts off , can you just use the remote to power it on again and it repeats ?
How did you try that resetting ?
O.k then that's pretty much the only reset that can be done in a situation like this and this certainly sounds like a defective main board .
This has been a recurrent problem ( exact same symptoms) on earlier models and it looks like the newer models may suffer from that as well although we will have to wait and see in the next year or so .
For right now there is no use to get into repair details except to say that you have a defective main board and the next step will be vizio to claim the warranty .
For a tv this size they should send a tech. to your home .
You will need to contact them at this number(###) ###-####and have your paperwork handy

Just looked again and it seem that vizio does not do any warranty service at home and you will have to take it to their closest service center .
But you do need to obtain a RMA number from them before proceeding
Did you win that tv ?
If so then no warranty
