I have a LG 60PK750 Plasma TV. The picture has gone dark, Almost black with some barely visable red lines and dots. I can see partial outline of the volume lev el on screen, but not much else. How can I know to replace the Z-Sus, the Y-Sus or another part.

What all input types have you tried?

Are all inputs affected in the same way?

Can you see the on-screen menu ok, or is it also affected?

I cannot see the menu. The screen is mostly black, with a very faint image. I can see the outlines of the volume icon on screen but very faintly

The speckled lights on the screen are multi colored. There is no popping noise..

All of the hdmi. But even with nothing in the inputs. The screen in that way.

Ok, can you try some non-HDMI inputs and let me know if they are also affected?

And have you tried using a different HDMI cable?

I put a RCA cable on it, and it continues to have the same picture.

pete, I just popped the top bufferboard while testing it. I will replace this board, and probably the Y-sus board as well. Then we can resume our repair. No phone call necessary.

Dan, I ordered some new buffers and a ysus. Not too expensive. They should come in the next couple of days. I will reinstall and let you know how it goes. Thanks
