Hello, I'm Shahid and will be happy to assist you.

Does the player disc tray open and close itself or when you push open/close button?

Expert:  Shahid replied 1 year ago.

If disc tray open and close when push open/close button then it is normal and OK.

You need to get HDMI Cable from nearest store, connect the cable at HDMI Out port at back of player and hook it into HDMI input of TV, select correct HDMI input as source in TV by pressing Input/ Source/ TV-Video button on TV remote to get bluray player logo screen.
