- What video devices/ sources (such as cable box DVD player etc) are connected to TV and does the problem occur on all video input sources?

- Have you tried to unplug TV and cable box power cords from wall outlet for 10 minutes to reset, replug back in and check?If not yet, can you try it now and reply back with the result?
OK, we need another video source at this point to connect to TV as a test to figure out if problem is with in TV or video source (cable box) is causing the sound issue.
Can you please connect a DVD or Bluray player to TV as a test and play back a disc to see if sound stays normal?
Just to clear, is the same cable box provide signals to other TVs as well?
Have you tried a DVD player to TV for sound check test?
