I would need the complete model number to tell you for certain.

However, in almost all cases, there is no headphone jack, and no analog output (red/white) with which to connect the transmitter.

Nearly all tvs made in about the last 8 years are entirely digital and completely lack any type of analog output.

What you should have though is a digital audio output on back, either an optical (fiber optic) or coaxial connection.
