Leave the tv On.
Locate the POWER cord for the comcast Box and unplug it from the wall outlet.
Wait 30 seconds then plug that power cord back in.
Watch the tv screen as the comcast box boots back up.
Eventually you should get normal picture and sound back on the tv.
