Hello, my name is***** am an experienced electronics field technician connected to you via this pay for assistance chat based support service. Your satisfaction is my top priority and in return your positive rating is the only way I will receive credit for my time. To get started we need more information (additional details may be required):
1. Who is your cable company?

2. Do you change channels with the JVC tv remote or with the cable company remote?

I have comcast and use their remote to change channels
Expert:  Mike G. replied 1 year ago.

Ok. Please try this:

Leave the tv On.

Locate the POWER cord for the comcast Box and unplug it from the wall outlet.

Wait 30 seconds then plug that power cord back in.

Watch the tv screen as the comcast box boots back up.

Eventually you should get normal picture and sound back on the tv.

I am here to help you. If you need more help reply back. Please be sure to click the POSITIVE RATING now. Doing so does NOT close the question or prevent us from continuing our conversation here. My livelihood truly does depend on your positive rating.

Clicking the "bad/poor" rating does NOT issue you a refund, nor does it do anything to fix your issue.

Thank you,
Mike

I did what you said No change

I have to leave no with no resolution to problem.

I will be here when you return but it certainly looks like you will need to contact comcast and have your signal checked or the box replaced. If you have another box in the house, try swapping them to see if the problem follows the box or stays at the location.
