Have you rebooted the set disconnected the set from wallpower waited 5 mins then replugged back in again if not please do that and let me know the results thank you
If you press the menu button of the sets own remote control does the menu come up?
Are you using a satellite or cable box?
the modem has nothing to do with this

Different tech here.
I think the last tech was wanting to talk to you on the phone because it would be a lot easier to solve this with a call;-)
There is a lot we still need to know.
These are technical issues and there can be many reasons you have a problem.
Is this TV hooked to a cable signal line or DVD etc?
Do you ever get a picture?
Please explain the blue screen in detail, when does this happen does it happen on all inputs?
is your TV programmed to receive the signal on the correct port you are calling on to watch etc?
