Hello, If you're using a Comcast box with the set, then the CC function is being generated by the box- not by the TV. So, first please try a reboot of your cable box by disconnecting the box from power for 10 seconds, then plugging it back in. Once rebooted check and see if the CC function is still on the screen. If so, then please reply back with the Make and Model off of the front of the box (for example: Explorer 4300HD, etc.).
