Customer Question

I have an Vizio 42" plasma that I am trying to resurrect. I have good voltages out of the Ysus board except the Vsc. The voltage spikes. I started troubleshooting and ended up disconnecting the buffer. With the buffer removed, I get normal Vsc without the spiking. I replaced the buffer with a "new" one and have the same problem. Is there anything else to look for on the Ysus that can cause this issue? The ribbons to the screen were disconnected when I was troubleshooting.

Hi there,

The YSUS is a serious weak point on this TV, and it should be swapped along with the Buffer.

Try that and let me know if you have success with it.
