Why are some of the settings grayed out so you can't set them

Customer Question

why are some of the settings grayed out so you can't set them like the tint, and the closed caption

Hello my name is Anthony
Welcome
Thanks for the Question
That is usually because its not supported so for example if you are watching via a box the closed caption on the TV may be greyed out because your viewing through an input ie the box, the tint may not be available for the same reason however if you used an antenna input it may then be available but the set will need to be switched inputs to antenna.
If you understand or do not understand please let me know

I did try switching over to antenna and the tint came on I adjusted it and when I went back on cable it went back off and the setting went back to zero

Yes because its not supported on an input......in other words its normal
Just exactly what problem do you have with the picture?
Anthony
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the faces are either too white or they are red

OK that's nothing to do with adjustment you probably have a problem so if you use another input like a DVD player or even the antenna is it any better using that?

you cannot set the tint on their faces and they are not set correctly

Expert:  Anthony_Infotech replied 1 year ago.
But do you have a picture coming through on the antenna?its just so we can compare pictures with whatever box you are using?
