I have a 26" Magnavox with a DVD player. I've had it for approx. 2 years. The sound starts out okay, then after a few minutes it gets lower until there is no sound at all.

- Have you tried to unplug TV and cable box power cord from wall outlet for 10 minutes to reset, replug back in, turn them On and check?

So far the sound hasn't faded, sometimes it will start to fad after about 15 minutes. It's been about 9 minutes.

Hi Leslie,

If sound doesn't fad while watching DVD on TV and only happens with cable channels then I hope problem has been resolved by unplug - replug cable box power cord that reset it.

Please keep watching cable channels and if sound stays OK that means problem is resolved.
