Clear line at the bottom of Sony bravia LCD ?
Hello, my name isXXXXX be happy to assist you.
Please allow me to ask you a few questions to diagnose the problem.

- Can you please get the model number written on back or side of TV?
- How old is it and how long it have had clear line problem?
- Is that line appear vertically or horizontally on screen?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

It was manufactured may 2008/ 6 months at least

It is horizontal at the bottom

Thanks Taylor for the reply.

- Is that line appear on all inputs of TV like watching cable or dvd etc?
- Please push Menu/ Home button to get menu screen, is that line appear over or behind the menu display?
- Have you tried to unplug TV power cord from wall outlet for 10 minutes to get it reset, replug and check?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.
It appears on cable and DVD input.

It appears over the menu display.

I will unplug for 10 min now.

Do you have any ideas what it could be at this point.?
Thanks Taylor for the info.

Please try unplug - replug and if it doesn't help then it is problem of display panel (screen) internal failure, unfortunately. Display panel would be replaced to resolve the problem but it may not be feasible due to high cost or it may no longer be available due to age of TV.
I would recommend new TV instead of getting repair this old unit if unplug - replug doesn't fix the problem.

I trust my input will help you out. Please feel free to respond if you have any additional questions.
A positive rating to answer would be greatly appreciated!
