TV Repair Questions? Ask a TV Technician for Answers ASAP
Hello , my name is Jack Perhaps I can help you with this but first i would have a few questions;
Can you tell me what you mean by "digital compatible" ?
Do you mean , can it receive digital over the air (antenna) signals/channels ?
Although it is capable of dealing with digital signals through its HDMI input on the side , the tuner (antenna/cable)on your tv is analog which means that you would need a digital to analog converter box .
This is much like a cable box but meant to be connected to an antenna.
If you need help finding one, let me know
Tx. That's what I needed to know.
Can I use the Comcast cable to connect to antena?
Not sure what you mean here.
Do you mean that you have the Comcast cable service and want to connect to it ?
Or just use the actual cable to connect to an outside antenna ?
The latter. I am dropping Comacast and switching to common multi-family antenna
O.k then yes you can use that coaxial cable to connect your antenna.
You will have to cut it off at some point outside the house to make a junction that will go to your antenna but yes you can use that
Tx for info. I am gone
You can reach me here at any time if you have questions.
By the way , here is a converter box that has HDMI output to connect to your tv so that you can get the channels in HD;
Hope this help and please take the time to rate my answer if that does the trick , otherwise do not rate at all , just let me know and we`ll see what can be done.
