I may be a few minutes between each request for info thanks for your patience!

Is it the powerlight blinking please?is it blinking and pausing please?

Let me know

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

The red power light is blinking. That is the only response I am getting from the television. It is 2 months old.

Is the powerlight blinking once every second please?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

It is blinking slower than that...I timed it and it blinked 10 times in 16 seconds, so it is blinking roughly once every 1.6 seconds.

You will need to return the set for service under warrenty.
Two things could have happened here

1 The firmware has gone corrupt
2 The LCD panel has failed (very bad)

Please contact the retailer you got the set from or sharp themselves for under warrenty service, if you can extend the warrenty I think you can do that at the sharp site do that when you get the set back.

Thier isnt anything that you can do as it will invalidate your warrenty

Sorry its very upsetting when a new set goes down like this but please do extend your warrenty new technology failure is very high.

Please let me know if you need more info.
