I have a Sony grand wega jdf-e50a10 LCD TV. It just stopped working a few days ago. When I power it on nothing happens other than the light stays green. Any ideas?
Hello, my name isXXXXX'll be happy to assist you,
Please allow me to ask you a few questions about your TV so that we can troubleshoot the issue.

- How old is the TV and how long it have had this issue?
- Do you get any on-screen display or menu shows up on TV?
- Have you tried to unplug TV power cord from wall outlet for 10 minutes to reset, replug and check?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

It is about 7 years old

There is nothing on the screen - completely blank

I have just unplugged the power

Thanks Ian for the reply.

Please post back how unplug worked.

- Also, does any red light blink on TV after some time or just green light stays on?
- Was there any repair or part replacement done to TV in past?

Thank you.

Unplugged and plugged back in - powered up right away. Thank you.

Can you let me know what caused the set to stop working?

Excellent Ian, glad to know it worked and TV is back in business.
In my opinion it would be TV internal software (firmware) glitch that cleared up by unplugging, I hope it wont happen again.

Please feel free to respond if you have any additional questions.
A positive rating to answer would be greatly appreciated!
