OK two questions

Can you see any visible light at all on the display even a very dim glow?best done in a darkened room

If you press the menu button of the sets own remote control does the menu appear or not please?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

now I have a reddish display and the menu does appear

If your watching through a satellite or cable box this is the most suspect right now, so please check the lead from the box to the TV are home and good both at the box and the TV itself , reboot the box if necessary by unplugging the box fromwallpower waiting 5 mins then replugging back in again.

Let me know what happens with these two things

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Yay!!!! Thank you......I feel stupid! Should I request a new cable box from my provider?

Was it the lead or the box itself please?

Dont forget to rate the answer please its the only way I receive credit for my time thanks

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

I'm guessing the box???? once uplugged and re-plugged, worked just fine

It may have just been a software glitch within the box and rebooting corrected it, if it happens again get it swopped

Please dont forget to rate.Thank You

Many Thanks
