Hello , my name is Jack
Perhaps I can help you with your Mitsubishi tv but first i would have a few questions;

Do you have the same problem on all inputs (dvd,bluray,games etc.) ?
When was the last time you replaced the lamp ?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I have never replaced the lamp

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Yes ..I have tried to watch a cd and it's still dark...why are they asking for more money when I paid to get a this a scam to make money?

O.k then the first signs of a weak lamp are exactly what you described .

Replacing the lamp would definitely be the first thing to do , you can get a new lamp at the link below;

Or you could use this part # XXXXX if you`d like to do your own shopping.
If you do not know how to replace the lamp then click on the link below and this will open your manual;

Give it a couple of minutes to download and look on pages 70 and 71 for the lamp replacement procedure.

Hope this help and I will be in standby if you have any questions.
Thank you and please take the time to rate my answer if that answers your question and note that you can get back to me at any time after this chat is closed if you have other questions.

Sorry , looks like we cross/posted , just saw your last reply .
Not sure what you mean by more money , just the repairman here and not privy to that part but usually what you already deposited covers my answer and everything else.
