I have a Sony Bravia LCD Digital color TV model KDL-V32XBR1. I bought it in 2008 so I could get HD. I moved and had to change to Comcast service. I have had several tech's from Comcast to fix the problem and the last one said there was a problem with the TV and he disconnected the HDMI . Is there a solution to my problem? Comcast is the only service that serves my area.

What did the comcast guys come out to fix exactly?was it that you wasnt getting HD through HDMI?or was you getting no pic at all through HDMI?

What input did they put you on now please?is it component?

At first my TV picture was unstable with gaps in the audio and horizontal lines flickering.

Finally (after 6 techs came up ) they put the TV on component video and removed the HDMI cable..

Do you think that I need to get an HDMI adapter ? I

Hi Terry

You need to try something else that has HDMI on the set if that works OK it rules out the set as being the issue and is a problem with comcast.

I guess they would have changed the HDMI cable.

Your proof is if it works with another HDMI input like a bluray or DVD that rules out the set, we actually carry a DVD around for this very check

Let me know what happens with the check

I am in the middle of setting up the bluray..
to see if it will work with that.

Before I told you that they set it up for component cable but I have checked and I see that it is hooked up to the cable only.

They did not change the HDMI cable but just took it off.

I will let you know if it works with the DVR

Hi
