Hi and welcome to justanswer.I`m going to help you with your tv but first i will have a few questions;Is the screen going throughn green/red/white full screen colors and repeating ?Do you have the tv`s original remote ?

yes on first and yes on q2
O.k then it lloks like the tv is on self-test mode.Try this; use the arrow up then down and power off the set
then power it on again to see what it does

on the remote , do you have a circle of arrows ?
with a center button?
yes tried that still changein colors
O.k on your remote that would be channel up/ down .|Stay with me as there are different procedures to get out of service mode.
Try the same thing with the up/down arrows but this time unplug the tv`s power cord for 20 secs or so
After you did hit those up/down buttons
Can you give me a couple of minutes ?
By the way, did you use the cursors up/down just below the play button earlier ?
no just the eject button i was going to put in a cleaning disc

These cursors are just below the play button on the remote
still no go
o.k then i`m not sure what is causing this other than the main board gone defective.This procedure does work 99% of the time but i guess not this time so i will opt out and perhaps another tech. in here will have something on this.

As soon as another tech. do respond , you will get an email.But whille i am here , i would have another way of trying the procedure;Try using the arrows left then right and power off and on
