If your Blu Ray functions and your sound test functions correctly, we have to look closer at the box that's not delivering your sound.
Is it a cable or satellite box? If so, have you unplugged the box's power cord for 5 minutes to reset the box's micro ? Sometimes audio can lock up due to that issue.
If that doesn't reset it, do you recall pressing a button on the cable/sat remote that made you lose sound? If so, we could use the brand name and model number of the box. It's usually found on the front faceplate or possibly inside a door flap on the front.
I rarely find them on the back, but you may want to check that, and also make sure none of your audio/video cables pulled out due to the weight of the cables.
thanks, XXXXX XXXXX are so sensitive. Shutting down and letting it re- group worked. Have a good weekend
Yes they can be sensitive to power spikes. That's why I always check that first.
