Hi. I'm Steve. I'm sorry to hear about your TV. I will try my best to give you a precise and accurate answer.

Can you tell me the following please:

How is the PS3 connected to the TV?

Are you using an external AV receiver for the audio? If so, how is that connected to the PS3?

Let me know please.

Steve

Ok. The PS3 is currently set to output audio via an optical or HDMI cable.

So, go to Settings in the PS3 and then look for Sound Settings and then look for Audio Output Settings. Change it to Multi/SCART/AV.

Then back out and tell me if you have sound.

I'll be here if you need more help.

Please do not rate this answer unless you consider this dialog complete and you are 100% satisfied with my service. A 1/5 or 2/5 rating will negatively affect my rating so let me know before you do that and we can keep chatting.

Thanks.

Steve
