Samsung LN55B650 powers on, audio works, but there is no video including graphics from menu.

How long have you had the set for and when did the problem occur?
Does the power light on the front fo the set blink?
i've had for 3 years and light blinks 4 times when you turn it on and stays red when turned off which is normal. just happened yesterday, tv was working fine and then tried to play DVD on PS3 screen went black, turned tv off and back on movie played for about 15 seconds and went black again, turn off an on again and same thing happened. Now tv has just black screen has sound all buttons on remote seem to work, but has no video or graphics.
If no graphics come up on the screen, how are you certain the remote is working? Have you tried pressing MENU on the TV itself, and does the MENU come up on screen or no?
Can adjust volume, change source and channel. Yes tried menu on tv and nothing comes up.

Please try this, shine a flashlight directly up against the screen of the TV and look very very closely at the screen. Do you see a dimly lit image behind the screen?

The problem is that the backlight inverter boards (Slave and master), or the power supply output rail that feeds the inverters has failed. The power supply output needs to be tested for voltages both under load and no load to determine which board has the fault. Unfortunately there are no resets or buttons you can press to fix the problem and the set will require service. Average cost for this type of repair is around $250 parts and labor if the inverters are found faulty, or also $250 parts and labor if it's determined the power supply is the culprit. The problem is going to be either one or the other.
