My Vizio TV has 3 HDMI Ports. HDMI 1 and HDMI side work fine.

My Vizio TV has 3 HDMI Ports. HDMI 1 and HDMI side work fine. HDMI 2 says no data found whether I connect my Blu-Ray or Laptop. How can I get this fixed?

OK, please unplug TV power cord form wall outlet for 10-15 minutes, replug back in, turn it On and check HDMI2 input.

I have unplugged the TV from the wall, and I still get the message: "Retrieving Data", and errors "No Data" or "Not Support" when I plug my Blu-Ray player into HDMI2. The sound comes through on a DVD, but not the picture. The Blu-Ray player works fine in HDMI-side. I appreciate your help.

Retrieving Data and No Data found? That sounds like USB related responses on the TV set. Not Supported could be HDMI or USB.

 

You actually read that on the HDMI input, not the USB?

Yes. It says that only when I plug the HDMI cable into HDMI2. The cable works fine on HDMI1 and HDMI-side. Sound comes through on HDMI2, but not video.

That board has your HDMI2 connector on it and will restore it's operation.

 

Disassembly, remove the screws highlighted in Yellow --

There's some screws on the board and some plugs. Depress the latches on the plugs to remove them, then remove the screws and swap the boards.

 

Put it back together and your HDMI will now function.
