I have a Samsung HL-R6168W television that the pictures flickers and sometimes freezes. This problem use to go away after the TV warmed up for 20 Mins or so, but now it does not go away. Do you have any Ideas. Could the power supply be going bad. Thanks for your help Jim C.

-How old is the unit? - Do you have this problem while watching all different devices hooked to this television? (DVD player, cable, satellite, game counsel, etc.)
The unit is about 6 years old and yes the problem occurs with all inputs
If you push the MENU button on the tv, does the menu show clear or does it flicker too?TIm
The menu flickers also, and when the TV has been off for awhile the picture freezes for awhile.
Have you checked the power supply for bubbled caps?Tim
What are bubbled caps
See the ones in the picture with the red arrows? The tops on them are not flat...they should be.Tim
Hi! just wanted to check in on you and see if you had a chance to check the caps or not.Tim
I have not checked the caps for bubbles yet, but I replaced the projection bulb. The problem went away. Very strange, but I am not pursuing anything else at this time. It works, thanks anyway for your help. I was able to fix it on my own.
OK glad you got it working.Tim
I see where your company already charged my card. Will you reverse that please. Thank You XXX X.41051.0022256944
