-What is the model number for the television? (this can be found on the back of the unit) -How old is the unit? - Do you have this problem while watching all different devices hooked to this television? (DVD player, cable, satellite, game counsel, etc.)

cable was unplugged, counted to 30, plugged in again and received same message of DIAGNOSTIC HDCP AUTHORIZATION FAILURE
HDMI PORT IS DISABLED.
all cables were disconnected from outlet, waited 1 minute, plugged in and now tv seems to be working again... is this all I do in the future in case it happens again????
