Customer Question

I'm hooking up my Brava TV to a cable imput. the TV was set up for HDMI for a few years and now I'm going straight to Cable. I can't get the TV to get out of HDMI and into Cable imput.

Optional Information:
Make: sony Brava
Model: KDL-46v5100

Already Tried:
I tried to use imput to change from HDMI to cable and it won't let me toggle up to cable. It's locked on HDMI. How do I change it to cable imput.

you are using the sony remote?

Customer replied 349 days and 8 hours ago.

yes and even when I go to the side panel on the TV I select Input and it comes up until I push the channel down butten and it doesn't allow me to move off HDMI when I hit channel down it goes out of the input select. like it's locked in HDMI some how. I had the best buy good guys set up the TV with a receiver and HDMI input but I don't have those any more just a cable input directly into the TV

ok it's running auto program and has found 50 analog channels and 1 digital but it's still searching. don't want to cancel it for fear I'll need to start over. The search is very slow.

this is a slow process. i would just leave it over night and let it run it`s course. i think you are ok and it just needs to program at this point.

ok thank you for telling me how to reset to factory default. It is seeing channels so that's a good sign. wish they wouldn't hide the "how to reset TV to factory default".

Thank again for helping
