Customer Question

We had a storm a week ago and my tv will come on for about 15 min. then it will shut off then come back on in about 1min. and it wil repeat this process. I just got this tv for chritstmas. flat screen.

Already Tried:
Unplugged the directv first to see if it was them (it wasn't) then plugged it back in and this is what it does.

You can try a firmware update on the Tv. Put your model number in and go to downloads:

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/

 

If there are no firmware updates or you still have the problem after updating then you need to have the Tv serviced. Since you just got the Tv for christmas then it is still under warranty from Samsung. Samsung warranty is based on model & serial. Just contact them(NNN) NNN-NNNNto start a repair ticket. If you attempt any repair on your own or use an non-authorized repair shop, then you will void your warranty.
