Customer Question

Samsung HDMI port loose/disconnected from the board. I removed the back cover of the TV, pins are not perfectly aligned. I was able to re-seat it on the board, but get only half the picture, sound is working. Where can I buy a replacement port/receptical?

Hi,

Please let me know model number of TV, it would be written on back of unit and will help to find out a solution.

Thanks.

Hi Shahid: I will have to provide you with the model number later today as I'm not near the TV. Is it possible to contact you later with the info?

Shahid:

Samsung Model # XXXXX Model Code LNR238WX/XAA. Am I doing the right thing by trying to find the port component piece that I can replace on the board, or are chances of this working not so good?

Thanks much.

Hi,

In fact it is very hard to remount HDMI port back on board so I would recommend to replace the Main Board to solve the issue.
Required Main Board is available in shopjimmy.com. Site will show few main boards, please select the board as per part number written on board in your TV to order it.

Hope these info will help, let me know if there is additional question.
