I am setting up a hitachi model L19A105 there is a menu at the bottom that says DTV, Dolby, Sleep on/off etc. How do I get that so it won't display?

yes I purchased it new and connected it to cable. It is working fine except for that menu displaying

Hi,

The TV is in store display mode - unfortunately, that TV is not really made by Hitachi, but Orion. I do not have any technical information for it.

If you look in the manual - there will be a setting to set it in Home Mode (that will remove the display at the bottom). It is usually a sequence - such as pressing Volume Up and Menu together on the TV's front panel (etc).

If you check the manual - there should be a description of how to set it in home mode.
